Irma Daushvili on Corporate Social Responsibility

On May 16-17, Irma Daushvili, Founder and CEO of Dio, attended a training on "Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsible Business Behavior in Georgia CSR / RBC", where she introduced the following topics to the audience:

• What is CSR,

• Its advantages,

• Why the company should be responsible,

• What role does CSR play in raising awareness?

• Why should the public and private sector be involved in CSR campaigns?

• Georgian successful CSR examples,

• The role of the media in the CSR campaign.

The training on Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsible Business Behavior (CSR / RBC) was organized by the Georgian Employers' Association and under the auspices of the International Labor Organization (ILO / DANIDA).

The aim of the training was to discuss issues with companies such as: the role of corporate social responsibility in the company, the current situation in Georgia, the growth of intangible assets, brand and reputation, good and bad practices of companies, strategy and communication, etc.

The training was attended by more than 25 member companies of the Employers' Association. The following also spoke at the event:

Jorge Illings - International Labor Organization International Training Center (ITC / ILO) Employer Program Manager;

Matthias Thorns - Deputy Secretary-General of the International Organization of Employers (IOE);

Vladimir Churovichi - Chief Specialist of Employers' Activities of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Subregional Office.

Corporate social responsibility is important for the company DIO and it carries out various activities constantly.
