On October 11, DIO was pleased to participate in a competition for International Girls' Day to generate ideas for women's empowerment.
Irma Daushvili, General Director of the company DIO, was the jury of the competition and handed over the prize prizes to the three selected players.
The event was organized in collaboration with UN Women and the University of San Diego,
The students developed a number of interesting ideas, including the idea of building a nursery near the workspace, which would create additional comfort for women at work. A number of interesting ideas were voiced at the competition, both for a change in domestic policy and for raising women's involvement in technology.
Here at DIO we are involved in the principles of women’s empowerment, and will gladly participate in any competition or event that supports and encourages girls.
