On the 9th of October, DIO’s CEO, Tamaz Daushvili, opened the renovated cottage of the non-governmental organization First Step, which DIO provided with colorful curtains and blinds to celebrate a long friendship with the organization.
"We are just happy to be here. The children will have well-equipped cottages where they will be able to learn, develop and take the first and most important steps. '' - Tamaz Daushvili, CEO of DIO.
"First Step" is an organization for the care of children with special needs. DIO has been friends with them for about 4 years and is happy about their success.
"First Step" serves more than 700 children a month, the renovated space will help the organization to provide even more children with high quality services, and DIO is happy to support it.
Also, the cottage of the Day Center of the First Step was renovated with the funds received from the Tbilisi Marathon 2018 organized by Heidelberg Cement, in which DIO was also involved.
