DIO was involved in a women's economic empowerment mentoring program and trained staff on April 4. Both mentors and beneficiaries participated.
A mentoring program involves a two-way and collaborative learning process between mentors and beneficiaries. The program provides an opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience. The beneficiaries are only females, as mentoring is carried out within the framework of economic empowerment of women and its aim is to enable women to acquire additional knowledge and be empowered.
Those wishing to be involved in the mentoring program have already registered and 8 employees of DIO have been involved in the training, of which 3 are mentors and 5 are beneficiaries. The staff involved in the first stage of the training was introduced to the program, the goals of the mentoring program and the details of the work and training were explained, the training was conducted by the trainers of the Creative Development Center Naniko Vashakidze and Tamar Mamadashvili.
The program lasts from 3 months to 1 year depending on the need for training. Finally, a presentation is held where goals, achievements and results are discussed.
